Italian Coffee Beans 1kg – Full Cream | Medium Dark Roast Whole Bean | Pavin Caffè

This one is great. Grinds well, beans were pretty fresh. The flavor is rich and almost creamy/rich. This one I think was pretty worth it. Was easy to dial in the grinds and pull a decent espresso within three tries. Pretty gentle on the stomach since it's not too acidic. Overall a pretty good value. I've tried three types of Pavin's beans and this one is my favorite.

I got these espresso beans to use in my automatic espresso machine. I got the medium roast, full cream. When I opened the bag, I noticed that the aroma was relatively mild. The beans were a relatively lighter shade of brown. They were dry and not at all oily. I made a straight Americano. The aroma was lessened after brewing. The crema was present, but light. The taste was better than average, in my opinion. I certainly like it better than any fast food coffee. It was very slightly acidic and very slightly bitter. Overall, I'd describe it as smooth, but not as smooth as others I've tasted. I'm not sure why it's called "full cream" because I would not describe it as creamy. These beans come in a 2.2 pound bag. It is a good value because the cost per ounce is pretty low. There is a "best by" date, but no indication of what the roast date was. In my opinion, this is a good product to consider if you expect to make multiple espressos per day and you are trying to be budget conscious.

This coffee has a great taste. The beans are a bit soft and ground easily. It smelled wonderful. It has a little creamy taste without adding creamer. The acidity taste was low. It does not take much to make a cup of coffee so this will last awhile depending on how much you drink it everyday. We like the taste. Definitely worth having.

Confessed coffee addict who also used to own a cafe... So I'm reasonably qualified to tell you that Pavin Caffe roasts a beautiful rich espresso bean that produces a beautiful crema when properly brewed. I would expect nothing less from an espresso from Italy or they would be ashamed to put their name on the bag. The beans are not overly oily, which is an excellent indication of the quality and care that was putting to the roasting before you even brew your first cup. And to get a full kilo, 2.2 lb of this rich bean at under $35 is an amazing steal. So take your time and grind us being to suit your machine the best and brew your rich cup of smooth happiness....

This bag of Pavin caffe Espresso coffee beans tastes like it would marry with cream delightfully! I think this is the perfect everyday coffee. For me the low acidity makes it more approachable. I'm used to darker coffees (because I only allow myself a little cup each day). It has a smooth mouthfeel and the aroma is muted, not the punch in your face the higher acidity coffees have. I put this through a fancy coffee maker instead of my expresso machine because that always brings out the best in any coffee. I only say this because I might have a slightly different experience than others. At its best this coffee tastes like they used too much Colombian bean. I understand that is where many people prefer their coffee to come from but I actually do not. I'm a weirdo, I tend to enjoy Peruvian and Ethiopian coffees. This tastes like a blend, I couldn't find anything on the bag about country of origin sources. If I were recommending this to a friend or loved one I would say: if you like a milder coffee that won't shock your tastebuds go with Pavin caffe Espresso coffee beans and add sugar and cream! This is fine straight up black but it's just a tad boring. I like boring when I am having a mellow slow day with no stress on the horizon. This would be amazing with a caramel creamer. All in all, a very calm balanced cup of good quality coffee beans!
