Italian Coffee Beans 1kg – Eccelso | Medium Roast Whole Bean | Pavin Caffè

Very, Very good flavor a little bit strong but really good flavor doesn't need to use to much quantities of coffee to get a nice coffee

Personally had no problems with these beans. It comes in a tall bag which is slightly smaller in ounces than ones in the store but the quality actually seems better from my perspective. I couldn't find the best by date or roast date but such is the case most of the time. The bag does look a little different from the updated image. The entire bag is basically written in Italian, and from the looks of it, it really is from Italy. Can't make out a word. The QR code leads me to an Italian website that needs translating but otherwise explains the coffee well... Eccelso is for 'excellent'... Okay... The roast is even, and there are no unusually hard beans that I would usually find in some of the store-bought ones that would jam my hand grinder a bit, so overall a very easy smooth grind for the morning for me. Pour over taste-wise is great, very smooth with a light sweetness. Acidity and bitterness is low, so maybe it's slightly over a medium roast. Overall made for an enjoyable pourover. Value-wise, it's currently... 35 oz? I got an 8.8 oz bag... Well let's see for the current listing, $40/35oz is about $1.14/oz so... actually a pretty good deal if you're good with buying the beans in bulk and actually receive the 2.2lbs? Actually pretty alright, considering some store brands are slightly more expensive these days. With the coupon it makes it a better deal at $36, actually. Nice.

I thoroughly enjoyed my espresso this morning after grinding my "Pavin Caffe Espresso Coffee Beans - Eccelso" medium roast beans. I received a 2.2lb bag of Pavin Caffe Eccelso. I had been using another brand of coffee bean that had bitterness to it, and I will say this Pavin Caffe coffee bean didn't have any bitterness to it. It was very smooth and very delicious with a little bit of maple syrup to sweeten it, and some whole milk. I would be happy to try their other flavors after trying this one. A treat!

I've tried a few different beans by PPavin caffe and for the most part, I like their coffee. This review is for "Pavin caffe Espresso coffee beans - Eccelso | Medium roast, Low acid coffee beans, Premium Italian espresso beans, Exceptionally refined flavor, Non-GMO, Molds free, 100% Arabica, 2.2 lbs". So, it should be a 1 Kg bag (1000g). First - about the beans. - Coffee is sealed in a metallic bag with valve for degassing - There is no roast date, just a "best before date" of 02/11/2027 - Coffee appears to be a medium roast Brewing: - Brewed 38g espresso shots using 19g of coffee - Used the same grind settings with this coffee as I use with their "Espresso Bar" blend to hit the 25-30 second shot window - Good crema - Good floral and bouquet with a nice balance of bitterness, and acid (as expected with a medium roast) The not so good: - While good coffee, this is not the product I ordered. While the brand of coffee is correct and the blend is also correct, the size is not. It is the same ASIN "B0FKZ7NCZW" (see the ASIN sticker on the bag in the photo) but the coffee is only 250g and not 1000g. -I've searched Amazon and there is no Pavin caffe beans available in a 250g bag at the time of this review. So where did this come from? -The price of this product at the time of this review is $39.99 for 1kg of coffee. If you actually get 1000g and not 250g, this is a reasonable price for decent coffee. $39.99 for 250g of this coffee is a ridiculously bad price. So, it's good coffee but it's not 1kg of coffee.

This has a fantastic smooth taste. The beans are easy to grind. It does not upset my stomach. The beans are fresh and smell fantastic. This one has a bold taste but it's so nice that I felt I did not have to add a lot of creamer. I use my k cup but my son used the French press and it taste great both ways. This is a pleasure to drink. I was sent what I think is a sample bag so it only lasted a few days but my son and I are huge coffee buffs so we do drink a lot of coffee. I definitely love this brand
